Astrology: Natal Studies Module 1:
Learn to Read Astrological Charts

Take Your First Real Step into Astrological Chart Interpretation
Natal Astrology Level 1 (NAT-1) is where astrology truly begins to come alive. In this course, you'll move beyond learning the individual components of astrology and start discovering how they work together within a birth chart.
Through a structured and practical approach, you'll begin developing the skills needed to interpret natal charts, understand personality patterns, identify strengths and challenges, and recognise the symbolic language that forms the foundation of professional astrological practice.
Is This Course Right for You?
NAT-1 is not a beginner's course. Students enrolling in this program should already have a basic understanding of astrology, including:
The planets and their meanings
Planetary glyphs (symbols)
The zodiac signs and their meanings
Sign glyphs (symbols)
Planetary rulerships
The basic structure of a natal chart
New to Astrology?
If you're starting astrology from scratch, we strongly recommend completing our Basic Astrology course before enrolling in NAT-1.
Basic Astrology provides the essential foundation needed to succeed in this course and is the official prerequisite for students entering AstroCollege's Professional Astrology Training Program. It will equip you with the knowledge, terminology, and confidence needed to fully participate in NAT-1 and continue your astrological studies.
You can choose to complete Basic Astrology through either our Live Instructor-Led Course or our Self-Paced Recorded Version, depending on your preferred learning style.
What You'll Gain
By completing NAT-1, you'll develop a deeper understanding of natal astrology and begin building the practical chart interpretation skills required for more advanced studies in AstroCollege's Professional Astrology Diploma Program.
This is where students move from simply learning astrology to actually practising it.
The above are the minimum requirements necessary for enrollment in NAT-1.
When you enroll in NAT-1 you have realized astrology’s complexities and want to get them right. You are at the point in your study where you are ready to jump into a structured learning environment and delve into a systematic study of astrology.
