AstroCollege is the first of the world’s online astrology schools, founded in 1997 by respected astrologer and educator Ena Stanley. Originally known as the "Online Academy of Astrology", and later the "International Academy of Astrology", the college was created with a clear vision: to make serious, professional astrology education accessible to students around the world, regardless of location.
In 2024, AstroCollege entered a new chapter when it was acquired by Luke Bayley, a professional astrologer based in Australia. With operations now centred in Australia, the college continues its long-standing international focus, bringing together teachers, students, and astrological traditions from across the globe, while evolving into a more modern, connected learning environment.
At its core, AstroCollege is about depth, integrity, and community. Our curriculum has been carefully developed and refined over nearly three decades, taught by long-standing professional astrologers—many of whom are recognised among the most respected educators in the field. The courses are structured, progressive, and grounded in real astrological practice, supporting students at every stage of their journey, from foundational learning through to professional certification.
We place strong emphasis on learning at your own pace, within a safe, inclusive, and supportive community. Astrology is deeply personal work, and we believe students thrive best in environments that encourage curiosity, respect, thoughtful discussion, and ethical practice.
As we relaunch AstroCollege into a new era, we are also exploring how modern tools, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), can support astrologers, knowing that the human element and interpretation is essential to using astrology effectively in our lives.
Astrology is not mechanical; it relies on intuition, lived experience, symbolic insight, and the astrologer’s ability to synthesise meaning from all these components and deliver that in an effective and useable way with a client. AI does not replace that. Instead, we are working with ways to teach our students how to use AI as a tool, to assist with research, calculations, pattern recognition, and layered interpretation, while keeping the astrologer firmly at the centre of the process.
AstroCollege stands at the intersection of tradition and innovation: honouring astrology’s rich history, while preparing astrologers to work confidently, ethically, and intelligently in a modern world.
Astrocollege is the place people go when they want to understand astrology properly.
