Professional Astrologer | Educator | Child & Adolescent Astrology Specialist
Alex Trenoweth is an internationally recognised astrologer and experienced schoolteacher specialising in child development and adolescence. She is the author of Growing Pains: The Astrology of Adolescence and is known for her research exploring astrology and adolescent development.
Through her teaching and research, Alex brings valuable insight into understanding children and teenagers through astrology.

WEEK 01
The Responsibility

Before interpreting a child's chart, we need to know where our responsibility begins and ends. Safeguarding, parental involvement, boundaries, confidentiality and language and how to offer meaningful astrology without prediction, fear or labelling.
Homework
Apply the safeguarding framework to real-world consultation scenarios.
WEEK 02
The Developing Child

Jupiter and Saturn provide an extraordinary map of childhood development. We explore learning, confidence, expectations and boundaries and the pivotal first Jupiter return as childhood begins its transition toward adolescence.
Homework
Analyse Jupiter & Saturn in a case-study chart and translate the astrology into practical guidance for a parent.
WEEK 03
Into the Shadowlands

WEEK 4 — YOUR PRACTICUM
Put it all together.
An individual appointment with Alex, to be shared with others in the cohort. This is where theory becomes practice: present your case study, demonstrate your approach, and receive individual feedback, supervision and assessment.
Successful completion demonstrates your ability to apply the techniques independently, thoughtfully and responsibly when working with children and families.
