Do I need any prior astrology knowledge to take NAT-1?
Yes! However, you can choose to study the Basic Astrology 001 Course with Live Instruction and enroll in that course directly, or with the Personal and Professional Astrology Pathway's, the Basic Astrology Self-Learning Course is included, it is specifically designed for beginners and will enable you to start NAT-1 (Foundations in Astrology) with everything you need to begin. We start with the fundamentals and build your knowledge systematically. This is the perfect starting point for your personal and/or your professional astrology education.
What's the difference between self-learning and live instructor?
These self-learning programs give you complete flexibility to study at your own pace with access to all materials and community support that you need. The live instructor access is available in various forms across all of the Education Pathways, including Free Chart Delineation sessions and other community events available to Free and Pathway members. However, true instructor led classes available to the Professional Astrology Pathway are available as you the student enroll in the class you want for the semester, providing weekly scheduled classes via Zoom or GoToMeeting, real-time interaction with certified instructors, personalised homework feedback, and recorded sessions you can review anytime.
How long do I have access to the course materials?
While an active program member, you will receive lifetime access to all the 400+ video library of seminars, courses, workshops etc and as a Personal Education Pathway member, also all course materials for NAT and PSM studies, as well as the community forums once you sign up. For live instructor packages, all classes are recorded so you can access them at any time via the Community Learning area and review them anytime, even if you leave the program for any reason or finish your education, any live classes you have been involved in, you will be provided ongoing access to them at all time into the future via the Community Learning area, even if you continued as a Free Community Member.
Will NAT-1 qualify me to practice astrology professionally?
NAT-1 is the essential first module in your professional training. It provides the solid foundation needed to continue toward full certification as a professional astrologer through the complete AstroCollege curriculum. This is the beginning of your certification path and details of this can be seen on our website, but it will not provide you the expertise to practice as an astrologer on it's own. Like all true education pathways, it takes time to become professional and that journey, although ongoing for life, should have you able to practice astrology as a beginner after the completion of NAT-5.
Is the Astrology Essentials course included in my Pathway?
The Astrology Essentials (also known as Basic Astrology:001) online course (a 10 week, self -learning course, normally $249, live instructor lead normally $595) and you always have the option to just attend these courses without enrolling in our pathways. It is a key foundational course available to those that join the Personal or Professional Pathways. This course reinforces key concepts and provides additional learning resources to strengthen your astrology knowledge and is required to prepare your foundational knowledge expected to be known prior to commencing NAT-1. It ensures you are ready and competent to begin.
Can I still attend AstroCollege and study on a per semester basis and pay per course?
Absolutely! You can choose to study however you want at AstroCollege, that is what we are aiming to do for you. You can study and pay per semester for courses and be a Free member of the community and gain all the community benefits. Optionally, you can enroll in access to the AstroCollege Learning Library for a small monthly fee, and obtain access to the resource library of over 430+ videos and take advantage of Community discounts on specialist workshops, intensives and mini-courses.
Are Live Classes available in my Time Zone?
Where possible, the AstroCollege will endeavour to make available live classes in various time zones, however this is not always possible and from time to time, specific courses may not be available at a convenient time for you. This is why we have self-learning courses available in the Personal and Professional Pathways, so you can still do the course material in your own time as well. We supplement this with Live Instructor Q&A sessions and Community Events scheduled through each calendar month that you can join at any time to assist.
Can I cancel my Astrology Pathway at any time?
You can cancel at anytime you like and you can upgrade at any time too. If you cancel, your access to all features of your Education Pathway will cease and your Community Membership will resort to the FREE tier. Any Live classes you have attended as a student or individually purchased content from the Community Learning Library area you will continue to have access to ongoing.
