Building upon the techniques learned in NAT-1, NAT-2 — The Planets explores the natural significations and mythology of the planets and the important roles they play in horoscope analysis.
You will develop your understanding of planetary archetypes, learn to recognise them in real life, and strengthen your astrological vocabulary and grammar through practical chart work.
You'll also explore essential and accidental dignities, including how to calculate dignity scores and use them to assess the strength, quality and quantity of planetary expression.
The course also introduces the basic symbolism of Chiron and the four major asteroids — Ceres, Vesta, Juno and Pallas Athena — through their mythology and astronomical properties.
By the end of the course, you'll be equipped to recognise, organise and express planetary symbolism as metaphor within the astrological paradigm, with particular focus on how planets function in a chart and in houses.
