Natal Astrology Level 1 (NAT-1) is where astrology truly begins to come alive. In this course, you'll move beyond learning the individual components of astrology and start discovering how they work together within a birth chart.
Through a structured and practical approach, you'll begin developing the skills needed to interpret natal charts, understand personality patterns, identify strengths and challenges, and recognise the symbolic language that forms the foundation of professional astrological practice.

Through a structured and practical approach, you'll begin developing the skills needed to interpret natal charts, understand personality patterns, identify strengths and challenges, and recognise the symbolic language that forms the foundation of professional astrological practice.
Is This Course Right for You?
NAT-1 is not a beginner's course. Students enrolling in this program should already have a basic understanding of astrology and completed the Astrology Essentials course, including:
The planets and their meanings
Planetary glyphs (symbols)
The zodiac signs and their meanings
Sign glyphs (symbols)
Planetary rulerships
Planetary rulerships
The above are the minimum requirements necessary for enrollment in NAT-1.
New to Astrology?
If you're starting astrology from scratch, you will be required to complete our Astrology Essentials - Foundations in Astrology course first before enrolling in NAT-1.
Astrology Essentials provides the thorough foundation needed to succeed in this course and is the official prerequisite for students entering AstroCollege's Professional Astrology Training Program. It will equip you with the knowledge, terminology, and confidence needed to fully participate in NAT-1 and continue your astrological studies.
You can choose to complete Astrology Essentials through either our Live Instructor-Led Weekly or Weekend Intensive Course, or our Self-Paced Recorded Version, depending on your preferred learning style.

The Signs of Polarity, Element, Mode. Planets Ruling Signs.

Contemporary Temperament Patterns
Marc Edmond Jones Temperament Patterns.
CLASS 5
Hemispheres and Quadrants
Sect by Placement in North/South Hemisphere with the Sun. Introduction to Primary and Secondary Motion.
CLASS 6
Astrological Houses
Introduction to the Problem of House Divisions. Groupings of the Houses by Pairs and Triangles.
